The purpose of this study is to reveal changes in territorial education in the 2022 revised Korean national curriculum of social studies curriculum. For the purpose of this study, the territorial education of the 2022 and the 2015 revised Korean social studies national curriculum and textbooks were compared. The results are as follows. First, achievement standards related to Korea territory cannot be confirmed, and the content of the relative location of other countries has either disappeared or been weakened by indirect description in the 2022 revised curriculum. Second, achievement standards about Dokdo were not be found in middle school and high school social studies curriculum and geography subjects. In terms of the purpose of Korean social studies education, which is to foster identity, and trends in territorial education of Japanese education, these Result need to be considered in future curriculum revisions.
